Diversified Industries Ltd. (DVS: TSX-V) is a public company undertaking exciting initiatives for the acquisition of several unique and innovative technologies. Diversified recently announced the staged acquisition of CFR Chemicals, including the acquisition details, a description of CFR’s operations and its impressive revenue growth.
CFR is an oilfield chemical company with its main plant located outside Red Deer, Alberta. CFR’s facilities are extensive and include chemical manufacturing and blending, tank farm storage, and chemical distribution. The facility is supported by rail and has undergone a recent expansion to further support and maintain the company’s rapid growth.
Diversified Industries is a technology company that has developed a chemical product that was designed to sweeten sour oil and sour gas for the oil & gas industry. This product is an H2S liquid scavenger and is marketed under the name DVS 6000. There is a large global market for such a product but in order to be successful Diversified needed a lower manufacturing cost and a means of distribution to the marketplace. The Board of Diversified believes that CFR Chemicals is the partner to accomplish this and already positive results and advancements are evident as a result of the merger. These are being achieved through CFR’s cost efficient manufacturing and its existing channels to market.
CFR Chemicals is the first of a number of wholly owned subsidiaries being developed under the Diversified banner. These subsidiaries with their respective technologies are targeted at numerous applications in varying markets.
