Barry Segal

Principal
Barry is a man who can’t sit still. In business and in philanthropy he has obsessed over the challenge of solving big problems and getting things done more efficiently and effectively. He started his company, Bradco, in 1966. By 2006, Bradco sales peaked at over $1.9 billion with 150 branches across the U.S. In August 2008 he sold control of the company and began his journey into philanthropy.

Martin Segal

Principal
After graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2004, Martin worked to become the Vice President of Operations for Bradco. He later took on the role of Vice President of Acquisitions, negotiating numerous strategic acquisitions. In 2010, Martin joined the Segal Family Foundation full-time as Managing Director. In addition to his role with the Segal Family Foundation, Martin is a real estate investor and manages several real estate partnerships.

Dolly Segal

Principal
Dolly was born in the Philippines and graduated at the age of 19 with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in accounting. Dolly came to the U. S. in 1970, settling in New Jersey. She worked as an accountant in New York City for over a decade. Eventually her commute got the best of her and she went into real estate. Dolly met Barry on the tennis court in 2005. They have been playing doubles partners ever since.

Danny Harrison

Director – Real Estate & Lending
Danny has a background in the building materials and roofing industry, working for Bradco Supply throughout High School and College. Following his graduation, he lead new sales for Greensulate, a New York based green roofing company. He has a Bachelors Degree in Entrepreneurship from Hofstra University and has continued his studies at NYU SCPS in the Real Estate Department. In his free time, Danny enjoys cycling, running, spending time with friends, and drinking local craft beers.

Michael Schoenfeld

Director – Sales
Michael Schoenfeld joined the BD Capital team as an Associate in June 2016. He graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Management and recently earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Michael was previously employed by financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo, and most recently, HSBC. Michael is a dedicated fan and season ticket holder of the New Jersey Devils. He enjoys spending time with his wife Shelby, his daughter Scarlett, and his dog Bryce.

Justin Lucas

Director – Construction and Development
Justin Lucas joined the B&D team in September 2017 as Director of Construction and Development. He oversees property management, fit-outs, contract work and site development. Prior to joining the team, he was a Partner at Chris Andersen Roofing & Erecting Co., Inc. where he served as VP of Operations. He also served as Managing Partner of Plainfield Roofing & Sheet Metal Supply for several years before selling the business to and accepting a corporate position with Bradco Supply.

Greg Dietz

South Region – Chief Operating Officer
Greg Dietz joined the BD Capital team in 2020. He graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a BA in Real Estate Finance. Prior to BD Capital, Greg was a productive and successful commercial real estate broker where he closed 100+ transactions representing institutions, generational property owners, family offices, REITs and real estate funds. His real estate acumen crosses all product types including multi-family, hospitality, development land and mixed-use assets.

Tate Triano

Director – Underwriting
Tate Triano joined the BD Capital team in November of 2017. He recently graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and a Minor in Risk Management & Insurance. Prior to joining the team, Tate interned with Cushman & Wakefield. He was fortunate enough to be part of the daily operations of Commercial Brokerage and Office Leasing services. He also attended Joshua Kahr, Excel for Real Estate Analysis class in New York City where he gained inside knowledge on Financial modeling.

Jeremy Goldberg

VP – Business Development
New Jersey, New York
Head of Marketing
Jeremy Goldberg joined the BD Capital team in 2019. Prior to joining the team he was the owner of multiple restaurants throughout New Jersey and Miami. After selling his group, Jeremy began investing in real estate and became a borrower of BD Capital. He has a Master’s Degree in Real Estate, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. Jeremy likes to surround himself with family and friends spending time outdoors playing golf, hiking, boating, and anything that creates smiles.

Chris Salvado

Managing Director – Business Development
Tennessee
Prior to joining BD Capital, Chris spent more than 20 years as a multi-asset trader for hedge funds and investment banks in New York and abroad. After graduating from Loyola College, Chris worked as a Cantor Fitzgerald Foreign Exchange Derivatives trader in their New York, London and Tokyo offices before accepting a similar position at UBS in Singapore where he managed the firm’s global capital in the currency options market place.

Oscar Ladino

VP – Business Development
East Florida
Oscar has a 25-year track record in the real estate industry with involvement in all types of transactions. Oscar cut his real estate teeth in the New York Tri-State area where he gained valuable experience in several markets and developed numerous long-standing relationships. With extensive knowledge of Florida markets, Oscar shifted his talents to Orlando where he covers Eastern Florida as BD Capital’s VP – Business Development. Oscar’s hobbies include soccer, golf and lacrosse. Hablamos Español!

Robert Shelnutt

VP – Business Development
West Florida
Prior to joining BD Capital, Robert spent nearly 20 years operating a real estate development and brokerage company in Clearwater, Florida. After graduating from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, Robert worked alongside a professional sports management agent in the Tampa Bay area who also guided client investment strategies with a focus on real estate acquisition and development. For 10 years, Robert was a consultant for a national homebuilder, helping create an Inc. 500 fastest growing real estate company.

Sam Zingales

VP – Business Development
Charleston, South Carolina
Sam Zingales joined the BD Capital team as VP – Business Development. He graduated from Erskine College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and the Certified Financial Planner degree. While completing his degree, he owned multiple businesses while being a collegiate tennis player. Sam worked as a Financial Advisor for 13 years, working with an affluent client base focusing on growth in investments, strategic lending and real estate acquisitions. He has flipped multiple homes in the Charleston area where he resides.

Andrew Rohrer

Business Development
Philadelphia, South Jersey
Prior to joining BD Capital, Andrew spent time working in the residential mortgage sector as a Licensed Loan Officer. Before pursuing a career in Finance, Andrew chased his dream of playing professional golf at the highest level. Andrew worked for some of the most prestigious country clubs in the world including Augusta National Golf Club, site of the annual Masters Tournament. Andrew enjoys his time with his family and friends, continuous learning and always enhancing new and existing skills.

Ken Lyons

Business Development
Massachusetts
Ken Lyons has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services and Banking sectors. Prior to joining BD Capital, Ken was employed by financial institutions including Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., Eaton Vance Management and Eastern Union Funding. Ken has held various roles in the financial services industry with a focus on risk reduction, operational efficiencies and project management. As a certified Scrum Master, Ken has effectively managed large scale internal and external projects that span multiple geographic regions and cultures.

Rob Logan

Director – Capital Markets
Rob Logan joined BD Capital 2019 as Vice President of Capital Markets. He oversees debt and equity sourcing for BD Capital. Prior to joining the team, he was a Vice President at G.S. Wilcox & Co. where he served as an originator on the commercial real estate capital markets advisory team. Prior to G.S. Wilcox, he worked at Newmark Knight Frank on their New York City based debt capital markets team and at ICAP in structured credit products. In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, basketball, soccer, reading and music.

Adam Carlo

Adam Carlo joined the BD Capital team in September of 2021 as a Capital Markets Analyst. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Prior to joining the team, Adam worked at Kushner Companies managing the lease administration and operations for their Retail, Industrial and Office Portfolios. His previous experience also includes various positions in Commercial Finance and Real Estate. Adam is an avid NY Jets fan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys fishing, kayaking, football, and hiking

Mike Noll

VP – Correspondent Lending
Mike Noll joined the BD Capital team as AVP – Capital Markets. Mike graduated from Holy Cross with a Bachelors in Economics and Psychology. After graduating he worked in Economic Development/Microfinance and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia and Australia. Prior to joining BD Capital, Mike spent 8 years in New York, with Arbor Realty Trust. Mike has extensive experience originating Bridge, FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS and Single Family Portfolio loans. He and his wife recently relocated to Nashville. When he is not helping clients with their financing needs, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. He is an avid music fan and has quickly settled into life in the Music City.

Project Manager
Wyatt Lucas joined the team in October of 2017 as a Draw engineer and in January of 2020 moved into a new position as Loan officer.

Prior to joining the team Wyatt worked for a General Contractor in both commercial and residential construction.

In his spare time Wyatt enjoys woodworking, fishing, hunting, golfing and anything that gets him outside.

Taking over the role of Draw Engineer, we would like to welcome Roy El-Aawar. Roy is a graduate of NJIT where he focused on Architecture and Construction Management. Most recently he acted as a project manager on both residential and commercial construction projects in NY and NJ.

Robert Mazura

Feasibility and Draw Engineer
Rob Mazura joined the BD Capital team as a feasibility & draw engineer in August of 2021. He recently graduated from Rutgers Business School with a BA in Finance and a concentration in Real Estate. Prior to BD Capital, Rob worked in the construction field on high end luxury houses for nine years which attracted him to pursue real estate from a different lens. Rob in his free time enjoys hiking, snowboarding, seeing live music, and spending time with family and friends.

Igor Karbinovskiy

Controller
Igor Karbinovskiy joined the B&D Holdings team as assistant controller in March of 2011 and has been the controller since November of 2012. He oversees the company’s finances and reporting, in addition to fulfilling similar duties for Segal Family Foundation and Focus Autism. Prior to joining B&D Holdings, he worked in accounting at Bradco Supply, a building materials supplier, until its acquisition by ABC Supply. Igor completed his BS degree in Business Management at the Stony Brook University.

Conry Miler

Associate – Underwriting
Conry Miler joined BD Capital in February of 2021. A Nashville native, he graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Collateral in Accounting. He is currently in the process of completing a Masters in Real Estate. Prior to joining BD Capital, Conry worked for The Kirkland Company, a multifamily investment sales firm, and Milan Insurance Partners, where he worked as a commercial property & casualty insurance advisor.

Matt Avila

Associate – Underwriting
Matt graduated with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a double minor in Economics and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the team, Matt worked at New Western Acquisitions, where he gained valuable fix & flip / wholesaling experience. Matt is also an aspiring real estate investor and hopes to flip houses and create a rental portfolio in the near future.

Kelsey Alzola

Transaction Coordinator
Kelsey joined BD Capital as Transaction Coordinator. She graduated from Colorado State University with an undergraduate degree in Speech Communications. Prior to joining the BD Capital family, Kelsey worked for over one decade in the event, meeting and wedding planning industry focusing on operations, logistics and ownership. She also received her Real Estate License. When she is not helping close loans at lightning speed, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband, being outdoors, running, playing golf and traveling.

Eva Paszkowska

Loan Administrator
Eva Paszkowska joined the BD Capital team as a Loan Administrator. Prior to BD Capital, Eva provided operational support for a property management company where she managed contracts and vendors while maintaining business relationships. Eva holds a criminal justice degree from Middlesex Community College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends. Being outdoors, hiking, comedy clubs and attending live sports are some of Eva’s favorite activities.

Kate Bronshteyn

Executive Assistant
Ekaterina “Kate” Bronshteyn joined the BD Capital and B&D Holdings team as Martin Segal’s Executive Assistant. She is responsible for keeping Martin organized, informed and prepared for anything that comes his way. Kate has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology, and currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts Degree. Kate is always looking for fun ways to stay fit and spend time outdoors.
